Session 5.1 Homeschool College Fairs
Homeschooling has increased in popularity over the last several years. Many
colleges are making the recruitment of these students a high priority. One of
the best ways to recruit these students are to bring them to campus as part of a
Home School Fair. This session will examine how the best way to identify these
students and their parents and how to develop and implement a successful Home
School Fair.

Online Withdrawal Process
The session will focus on the online withdrawal process developed by Austin
Peay State University. At most schools, gathering information on departing
students is seen as critical. APSU has developed an online method to
automate the process and limit the workload for staff.

passed. Each one of Tennessee's public universities face challenges recruiting

enrolling, the challenges we all face in recruiting, and strategies we can
implement to counter such obstacles.
