Session 1.1 Newest Developments in On-line Services Case Studies from
Coast to Coast

Several case studies where new technologies have been deployed to improve
customer service, enhance regulatory compliance and reduce operating expenses in
degree verification, on-line transcript ordering and other services for
post-secondary institutions will be discussed. A in-depth review of project
objectives, the implementation process, and measured results of selected
examples will be discussed. New projects and services recently launched in 2007
will be previewed.

This very interactive and fun session is designed to increase your knowledge of Tennessee while providing an opportunity for group competition and camaraderie. Session 1.3 Creating a 24/7 Virtual Admissions Office: Providing On-Demand
Student Service via the Web

This session will focus on the Hobson’s EMT product known as “Answer” (an
English and a Spanish version) and how The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is
using the product to create a 24/7 Virtual Admissions Office. We will also
discuss areas in which UTK is growing their website into a fully customized site
for students through the use of Hobson’s products. If you are unfamiliar with
Hobson’s and would like to learn more about UTK’s success with 24 hour web
service, this session is for you!
