|Job Summary||Responsible to the Registrar for supervising the Records Office; providing guidance to the Registration and Graduation Offices; maintaining student records; maintaining the Banner Student Information System, evaluation, development, and implementation of projects based on Federal and State regulatory changes; issuing student transcripts; supervising the certification of NCAA eligibility; coordinating with the Financial Aid Office regarding enrollment data used for the return of Title IV aid processes; managing office budgets and computer resources; data collection and reporting; generating and maintaining office web pages; managing database applications; supervising implementation and continuing operation of GoldLink; training faculty, staff and advisors in the use of Banner; managing acquisition and distribution of academic regalia for commencement; serving on various committees and task forces; and performing other related duties as assigned.|
|Knowledge, Skills and Abilities||Knowledge of microcomputer hardware and software including operating systems, word processing databases, spreadsheets, graphics and desktop publishing.
Knowledge of mainframe computing environments related software and operating systems.
Knowledge of Federal, State, and NCAA regulations related to higher education and athletic compliance.
Knowledge of Banner systems.
Knowledge of eXtensible Markup Language (XML).
Knowledge of HTML. Knowledge of National Student Clearinghouse data schemas for enrollment reporting and student research.
Knowledge of Academy One file format schemas and command line functionality in Windows.
Ability to evaluate and synthesize Federal and State regulatory information in decision making.
Ability to collaborate with Federal, State and local authorities regarding enrollment reporting, regulatory changes, and program changes.
Ability to learn and implement new software packages for mainframe and microcomputers.
Ability to plan, develop and implement workshops and training programs.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to maintain good working relations with staff, faculty and students.
